Friday, June 20, 2008congrats to LeaMost of you know we are moving to Nashville. Some of you know we were there this week - we went out on Monday & Tuesday for a house inspection on the home we are buying, and for Lea to go to some meetings/interviews at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Well, the inspection went well, but that's not what this blog is about, so moving on... Lea's meetings went great - ALL THREE of them offered her a job, and I think a couple of them were trying to get her to sign on the dotted line right then. Obviously they could all tell what a huge boost it would be to have her on the floor! She officially accepted one today - it's an OB/GYN position, working with post-partum and ante-partum (did I spell those right babe?). Basically she gets to work with moms and babies, which is what she has wanted to do for a long time. (Sidenote - she worked some in the nursery at our old church and is so good with babies, so this will be a great job for her!) Anyway, I'm so proud of you Lea - but not surprised! Vanderbilt Nursing is lucky to have you!! |

Congrats, Lea! We agree with James that they will be very lucky to have you at Vanderbilt Medical Center! You will do a fabulous job with those moms and babies and bless so many! Best wishes to you!
