So excited....36 days!

I can't wait to marry James on November 4th! He is my one and only true love. I have waited and wished for this day to come for a very long time. I can't wait to grow up and to grow old with him. Just looking at him and listening to him makes me think of all the days when I wondered whether and when God was going to bring him to me. And I smile knowing that He has. In all the preparation and planning for the wedding, I can only stop and thank God for all He has done...for providing me with the most amazing, strong, passionate, godly man. Thank you God for your faithfulness. I love you, and I love YOU James!!!

smart wife!

I am marrying a wise woman. Now please don't misunderstand, I don't mean the female version of a "wise guy" or anything! :-) That just brought back memories of the three stooges and I didn't even watch the three stooges. Okay, where was I...

Lea has a lot of great things to say and to share. The thing is, Lea is very sweet and not one to demand an audience (unlike her husband-to-be). So what that means is, if you don't pursue time to listen and learn from Lea, you very well could miss out on it. I know because this is a mistake I have often made.

Anyway, today she was sharing her heart with me and teaching me - with her words and a passionate, godly conviction - some things I need to learn, or at the very least I need to understand them better. Things I need to believe and hold on to. And it was so beneficial for me to just listen to Lea and allow her to speak truth into my mind and heart. And I am so excited that God will continue working in me and will make me a better listener, if I simply submit to Him.

Ok, I just wanted to share that I am marrying a wonderful, kind, caring, intelligent, sensitive, beautiful, loving woman.

Courtyard Phoenix Mesa

Hi all!

If you are coming in from out of town and happen to be staying at the Phoenix Courtyard Mesa (which is excellent by the way), than this note is for you. :-)

If you are staying more than just Friday and Saturday (coming in Thursday, staying through Monday, etc), they may not give you the good rate for those days. But have no fear! :-) We can get it for you. Just contact Lea or I after you make your reservation and we will get the rate adjusted (or so says my good buddy Todd at the hotel).
